WITHOUT US was created for Nürnberg Ballet in 2019

“The handful of people who stand-out from the crowd had to first stand-in isolation.”

In most cases, mankind organize themselves in groups, building countless civilizations around the principles of order, social bonds, and unity. The pathway of each life flows through society, randomly, constantly abiding by the rules of the group, and the rules of the individual. In such a complex system, we witness social celebrations and happiness, but there also exists the underlying presence of resistance and oppression, and mankind’s desire to stay alive. WITHOUT US speaks of our passing connections with one another, our overlapping timelines, and the experience of humanity that separate and binds us all.
